JS prom is the best and wonderful experience being encountered by the juniors especially the seniors, for me the reason why JS prom is being celebrated is because this is the tribute for the seniors who will soon leave the school to move on to college. Prom is the short form for Promenade, it means a semi-formal dance held at the end of an academic year. As a junior, we must respect and socialize to the seniors so that they could have a wonderful experience before they leave the high school life, because JS Prom in high school is different in college so we must give our best to give happiness to seniors and also in our co-juniors because this is only once in their/our life.
Before JS Prom, I thought this is not exciting, because I am a first timer but when I already experienced this, I was wrong. I feel nervous with a little bit excited, and when I entered the gym I was surprised because the preparation is really beautiful and amazing. It started at almost 1pm and will end at 9pm. It started with the entering of Juniors and Seniors inside the gym going to their respective place. Then, followed by the prayer, followed by the "Pambansang Awit" sang by Jessa Castromayor and followed by the candle lighting of the juniors and seniors students and their partners.
Now I know the essence of the JS prom for juniors and seniors because you have a freedom to dance to whom you admires. You can also develop your spirit of socialization with the other year level and sections. I enjoyed dancing with my crush, friends and classmates so I know that in Hishschool life your experiences will be memorable forever. I was nervous going up in the stage to give the token but when I'm already at the center, my nervousness lessened. I am not ashamed anymore. By the way, the best dress was Gian Palmes and Charmaine Mae Enate and the king and queen of heart's was Sychelle Alatan and Joseph Lawi-an. I'm so proud with them because they deserve that award. I congratulate also Charity Dedase and Rona Jane Buca being the emcees and opening remarks lead by Dianne Grace Regencia.
For the students of Tupi National Highschool, I encourage you to join JS Prom because it is the wonderful experience in you life that you will surely never forget!
